October 9-13, 2017 is TLC’s sixth annual GREENWEEK! This year, we are focusing on timely topics that include updates on rating systems LEED v4, BREEAM and Fitwel, as well as the benefits of Living Walls and data (including what to meter and how to manage the date input).

Lunchtime presentations will include nationally recognized thought leaders speaking on timely sustainability topics. Sessions will be hosted in TLC offices and broadcast through GoToWebinar for remote participants.

Lunch begins at 11:30AM (EDT); Programs start promptly at Noon (EDT) each day and last one hour. Please RSVP by Friday, October 6, 2017. ​Speakers are subject to change based on Hurricane Irma reschedule!

Session will provide challenges / best practices associated with targeting LEED v4 and BREEAM certification, as well as background on development of BREEAM.  Multi-building owner will address use of prototype to manage standards, process and branding.  Explanation of how BREEAM has been adapted specifically for the American market.​​​

A growing body of evidence links the design of our built environment to choices that impact health. Healthier buildings benefit employee wellness and promoting wellness improves employee productivity. This session will provide an overview of the Fitwel certification program and highlight how designers, real estate owners, facility managers, and developers can positively impact building occupant health and productivity by making Fitwel’s recommended improvements to workplace design and policies.  Healthy building designs often include living walls for both aesthetic and physical environment enhancements.  The benefits, as well as the design and construction considerations for living wall biofilters will be discussed.​​​
