for less was the goal of this expandable modular design,
which features cost-effective building materials, an energy
management system, and natural classroom lighting. Safety
is enhanced using CPTED criteria, extra wide corridors,
multiple visual sight lines, separate public and student
entrances, and a high-tech security system. The new one-story
school features the "house concept" for classrooms
and includes a cafetorium, gymnasium, and media suite.
This Florida SMART School prototype was reused for Lincoln
Memorial Middle School, and Manatee Elementary Schools
