LEED AP's

As LEED® Administrators, we do the legwork, paperwork, and the followup. Our professionals manage the complex process, submit all of the required documentation at LEED-Online, and keep track of certification goals throughout design and construction. This entails reviewing documents and LEED submittals, providing discipline-specific assistance, and keeping crucial information flowing among team members.

In keeping with our commitment to sustainable design, TLC Engineering for Architecture encourages our professionals in every discipline and every TLC office to pursue Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. To this end, TLC is now a Florida Board of Professional Engineers-authorized "Area of Practice" continuing education provider.*

With LEED-Accredited Professionals and ACG-Certified Commissioning Authorities in 10 offices in Florida, Tennessee and Texas, TLC provides sustainable consulting, design, and/or commissioning services for projects throughout the U.S.

TLC employees who are interested in learning and development opportunities in LEED can sign up for LEED classes offered through TLC University. These instructor-led programs, including a fully accredited FPBE continuing education LEED Exam Workshop (offering 4 PDH’s, half of what Florida PE's need for their biennial renewal) are presented by Kim Shinn, PE, LEED BD&C, CxA; Brian Lomel, PE, LEED AP, CxA; Mark Gelfo, PE, LEED BD&C, LEED OM, CxA; and Gary Krueger, PE, LEED BD&C. TLC is also an American Institute of Architects-Authorized Provider of seven Continuing Ed LEED Courses:
• Practical Green Design (2 credit hours)

• Green Healthcare (1 credit hour)
