In this Senior Mechanical Engineering position, you will provide the necessary technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to the mechanical staff in your Division to assure total quality of all engineering efforts, appropriate fee development and timely billing and collection of project fees. You will assist the Division Director in meeting divisional marketing goals, revenue projections and client expectations. You may serve as the Project Engineer when dictated by the project size, complexity or client request.

Mechanical Project Engineer
In this position, you will be responsible for total management of all the aspects of your projects to ensure they are completed on time and at the highest level of quality while meeting the clients expectations and producing profit for the firm. In this position, you will have direct leadership of the engineering design and production for multiple disciplines. You will ensure that the project is handled in a professional manner, including obtaining all necessary contracts and authorizations to perform work. Marketing and client maintenance, including preparation of proposals and negotiation of contracts, are also key functions of the Project Engineer.

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree, PE, and at least 6 years experience in the engineering and design of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for commercial, institutional, governmental, and healthcare facilities. Demonstrated project management success expected.

Mechanical Engineer II
As a Mechanical Engineer II, you will be accountable for projects assigned including the planning, design and production of the engineering components, and maintaining successful client relationships. You will rely upon your high level of engineering judgment and experience in developing the appropriate quality engineering solutions, coordinates the activities of other team members and assists in production as needed to meet schedules. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating efforts between disciplines and work as a team player. You may function as a Project Engineer on specific projects of smaller scope, participate in the firm's marketing effort, and supervise the tasks and methods used by other personnel assigned to the project. You will report to the Senior Engineer or Senior Project Engineer as assigned by the Division Director and work with the Project Engineer.

Mechanical Engineer I
As a Mechanical Engineer I, you will be responsible for the complete performance of mechanical engineering tasks by designing and drafting; performing HVAC load calculations; sizing equipment, ductwork, and piping; and performing computer economic analysis of alternate HVAC systems for buildings. You will be responsible for the complete performance of construction administration tasks by processing drawings, RFI's, and site visits during the construction phase. This position works under the direct supervision of the Senior Engineer on specific assignments in the design and production of the firm's projects and is accountable for small projects assigned and specific discipline designer activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating efforts between disciplines and work as a team player.

You will work closely with the technical team members, vendors, and clients in producing final drawings and completing design tasks.

Qualified candidates will possess 4+ years experience drafting and designing mechanical systems in the A/E environment. High school diploma or recognized equivalent required. AA/AS degree and/or technical certifications in mechanical design preferred. Must have basic knowledge of applicable codes and general engineering practices. Qualified candidates will possess 2+ years experience drafting in an A/E environment or certification in AutoCad. Candidates with experience designing related systems preferred.
