A strong directoral team and the addition of communications, technology and security system design to our structural and MEP services strengthens TLC's presence in the Tennessee market. Led by Stephan Kemp, PE, CxA, a principal and mechanical engineer, our talented staff provides engineering design for hospitals and medical office buildings all over the U.S., as well as universities, high-rise residential buildings and corporate office buildings. Special expertise includes 10 LEED-Accredited Professionals, four ACG-commissioning authorities, a Registered Communications Distribution Designer, a Certified Plumbing Designer, a licensed threshold inspector, and a Microsoft Certified Professional. Our staff includes a member of the national board of the U.S. Green Building Council, an authority on the BACnet data communication protocol, and the president of the Nashville chapter of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers. A leader in sustainable design and LEED consulting services, TLC Nashville has provided engineering services for numerous LEED projects and our own office space is LEED Certified for Commercial Interiors.
