Orlando's
corporate headquarters is TLC's nerve center. Working
behind the scenes providing support to all of our divisions
are top executives and a core group of finance, marketing,
information technology, and human resource professionals.
Key personnel include two registered AIA architects,
a professional engineer, four LEED-Accredited professionals,
a certified public accountant, two certified Intranet
Ware Novell engineers, and two Microsoft certified systems
engineers for Windows 2000. Highly active in the community,
our executives include a member of the Economic Development
Commission of Florida Space Coast executive committee;
the Policy Advisory Board of the Florida Solar Center;
the Orange County Schools Blue Ribbon Committee; a state
director of the American Institute of Architects, national
board member of the Professional Services Management
Association, treasurer of the Florida Architects Political
Action Committee, and a member of Leadership Orlando.
The office is home to our Orlando MEP, Healthcare, Structural,
and Communication and Technology divisions and a thriving
sustainable design consulting service.

public-use buildings, including airports, cruise terminals,
higher education, criminal justice centers, mixed-use
buildings, and convention centers, are our forte. The
Orlando Divisions expertise includes preconditioned
air, thermal energy storage, historic preservation/renovation,
and design/build. Active industry participation is a matter
of pride among our staff, whose ranks include four LEED
Accredited Professionals, a Certified Indoor Air Quality
Professional,and three Certified Plumbing Designers. The
divisions design for the $38 million Hewitt Office
Building in Orlandos Central Florida Research Park
garnered an ASHRAE Regional Technology Award.

We know that properly engineered buildings are essential

comfortable environment. Leadership comes naturally to
our professionals, who serve on the board of governors
of Central Florida ASHRAE; as a member of the ASHRAE Standard
Project Committee 170, Ventilation of Health Care Facilities;
and state chair of the Florida Healthcare Engineering
Association Codes & Standards Committee. The Healthcare
Division boasts four LEED Accredited Professionals, a
National Society of Professional Engineers Distinguished
Service Award winner, and the winner of the Florida Engineering
Societys Outstanding Service Award. Our talented
staff includes four LEED-Accredited Professionals, a Registered
Communications Distribution Designer, three Certified
Plumbing Designers, a Certified Energy Manager, and a
DDC Controls Specialist.

Broad
experience is a hallmark of our Structural Division, whose
projects range from renovating a 1927 courthouse into
a historical museum to shoring up an office building threatened
by a sinkhole. We design high-rise and long-span buildings,
including exhibition/convention centers, courthouses,
jails, prisons, colleges and universities, and hotels.
Particular expertise includes post-tensioned concrete
design; seismic forces on bridges; and complex foundation/truss/frame
systems. Using state-of-the-art software, our professionals
conduct in-depth systems analyses for repair, reuse or
renovation of existing structures. Structurals diverse
staff includes a LEED Accredited Professional, two licensed
threshold inspectors, a member of the FICE Board of Directors,
the president of the ASCE/Central Florida Chapter, vice
president of the ASCE/UCF Student Chapter, and two allied
members of the Florida AIA. Division Director Roger Jeffery
is the recipient of the Central Florida Engineers' 2007
Lifetime Achievement Award and the 2007 Byron Spangler
Award for Lifetime Achievement awarded by the Florida
Section American Society of Civil Engineers.

Supporting our clients unique operations and providing
the flexibility to accommodate future technology are
major goals of every project we design. Graduate engineers
in telecommunications, a graduate architect, five BICSI
Registered Communications Distribution Designers, two
CPTED-certified professionals, and a certified state
fire marshal make up our talented staff.
