The
four-story, 60-bed Owasso Hospital has a 24-hour emergency
department with the citys only medical helipad;
24 inpatient beds; a Center for Womens Health; four
birthing suites; eight post-partum beds; four state-of-the-art
operating suites; all digital diagnostics including MRI,
CT, ultrasound, mammography and bone density scans; and
a 400-ton central energy plant with three 2-MMBtu boilers.
The buildings second floor is shelled for 14 future
beds. The 70,000-sf medical office building is attached
to the east side of the hospital by a 50-ft air-conditioned
and heated corridor. TLC provided early schematic and
design development drawings necessary for confirmation
of budget and scope. We also provided a dedicated construction
administration team who attended monthly on-site meetings
to assure that construction proceeded in compliance with
the documents and on schedule. The design-build collaboration
was so successful that St. John Health selected TLC and
Haskell Company for the new Broken Arrow Hospital and
Medical Office Building.
