UNF Parking Services Building Earns LEED Silver
06-23-08

The University of North Florida's Parking Services Building has achieved U.S. Green Building Council LEED Silver Certification. This is a remarkable accomplishment given that the project is only 3,000 sf, that UNF didn’t decided to seek LEED certification until about half-way through the design, and that the University had no budget increase for certification. TLC provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and LEED consulting services for the building, which was constructed at a cost of $1.2 million. The building is the Jacksonville Office’s 3rd LEED certified building and TLC’s 15th.
