Located
in the heart of Winter Park, the Residences is the first
phase of the redevelopment of the former Langford Hotel.
The seven-story building houses 21 luxury condominium
homes and two 5,400-sf penthouse condominiums with rooftop
terraces. Flexibility and cost-effectiveness drove the
mechanical design which incorporated different types of
systems to provide energy-efficient cooling for the various
spaces, like DX split systems for the residential units.
Throughout the design of the project, TLC solicited involvement
from local building officials as well as leading industry
contractors to minimize plan review comments and streamline
value engineering efforts. |
