The
new award-winning 16-gate Airside C terminal is part of
TIA's $1 billion, 20-year expansion and renovation program.
High-speed baggage-handling, energy-efficient HVAC systems,
a new central plant, a pre-conditioned air system to support
aircraft parked at the gate, security and telecommunications
systems engineered by TLC were included in the design
packages. Airside C was recognized by the Florida Association
of the American Institute of Architects with a 2006 Excellence
in Architecture Honor Award. |
