New ceilings,
improved lighting, updated carpet and wall surfaces will create
a light, airy atmosphere. Four new escalators linking the Ticket
and Transfer Levels improve circulation by diverting curbside
check-in passengers away from the busy ticket counter queues.
Expanded curbside check-in/baggage areas help relieve congestion
outside. Extensive planning and close coordination minimized
disruption of ongoing operations throughout this phased project.
Under separate contract, TLC assisted in providing modifications
to the security system.
