As a student-oriented building, it will feature comfortable, high-tech spaces that promote individual and team-oriented discussion, research and interaction. The building was designed to blend in with UF’s distinctive architecture and will feature a three-story atrium, five large classrooms, two flexible seminar rooms,17 student breakout rooms, two open student lounges, workspace for staff and administrators and a financial markets lab.In keeping with the University’s commitment to sustainability, Hough Hall will be a green building. • Use of environmentally friendly refrigerants, adhesives and sealants
• CO2 monitoring of all variable/high occupancy spaces
• MEP system measurement and verification integrated into the building automation/DDC system
