As
the first project of its kind in downtown College Park,
the Wellesley combines luxury residences, high-end retail
and secure parking. The seven-story building features
106 condominium homes, a host of amenities and overlooks
the SunTrust Colonnade, a block-long shopping and dining
destination anchored by a branch bank. The building's
mechanical systems were customized to provide cost-effective,
energy-efficient cooling for the different types of spaces.
Electrical design features individual metering at all
residential units and retail spaces with power distributed
vertically through the building. Lighting is a combination
of conventional systems for the residences and decorative
building accent lighting that complements the College
Park setting. |
